Mermaid - Hello

I came across two different challenges over the weekend that intrigued me, and somehow they ended up being done in one card. The first was the Etsy Inspired Challenge where we’re asked to visit Etsy and choose an item that inspires us. You can see that challenge: HERE  I found a wonderful handpainted Travel Mug by Morsel81 that can be seen: HERE  The second is a sketch challenge that was different from any that I’ve seen with a circle extending above the top of the card. Very creative of C4C. You can see that challenge: HERE

I so enjoyed making this card with the lovely mermaid from Hanna Stamps. The rock formation is another stamp in the same set, so I had to mask the mermaid (totally worth the time, and easy enough to do).

What I used:

Stamps: Mermaid, Rock Formation (Hanna Stamps), Hello (CTMH)
Paper: Print (DCWV), Solid (The Paper Co)
Accents: Gems (Darice), Flower (Prima)
Misc.: Watercolor pencils (Design), Stamp Pads (The Paper Co)
