A Tilda Hello

I had some time this evening to finish working on another card for the Magnolia weekend with Danni and friends. Purple is another problem color for me, so when I found this week's challenge for Color Throwdown was the colors: Elegant Eggplant, Baja Breeze, and Certainly Celery, I just had to try it out! I also used Melissa Craig's sketch for Tuesday Morning Sketches to put my card together.

Color Throwdown #77 can be found: HERE
Tuesday Morning Sketches #30 can be found: HERE

What I used:
Stamps: Tilda with Letter by Magnolia, sentiment by Clear Dollar Stamps

TGF - CHA Relay - Prince Ian

This was my entry for Day 4 in The Greeting Farm's CHA Relay. It's the last digi for the relay, as there has been much trouble caused by all of us eager participants. (as a large group accessing the site the server had a difficult time keeping up and was crashing) This was certainly a fun time (maybe not so much for the wonderful women who were trying to keep up with us all), and I just had to use Prince Ian even without the challenge. Every image of him is just adorable.

You can find the Prince Ian digi on The Greeting Farm's blog: HERE

What I used:
Stamp: Prince Ian Digi from The Greeting Farm, sentiment is just something I typed up on the computer and printed
Paper: DCWV, Core'dinations

Stamping Bella Weekend

I've started off this year hoping to ink up more of the stamps I have here, so that eventually they will all be used. When Danni mentioned wanting to do a Stamping Bella weekend, and asked if I'd like to join in, I jumped on the opportunity. So my first choice for this fun stamping weekend was Meredith, one of the adorable Teacup Girls. I chose to use this week's lovely sketch from Creative Inspirations, and the wonderful colors for Color Throwdown. I also used a touch of Shimmerz while coloring the image, which I can see will quickly become an addiction. Thanks so much Danni, I'm happy you introduced me to them!

HSE Cupcake Inspiration Challenge #41

It's getting to be that time where we have to get busy on Valentines, so I took the opportunity to make one for this week's Cupcake Inspiration at Hope Stamps Eternal. I used a stamp that I recently won from Victoria Case that seemed just right for the card, and finally used my heart shaped Nestabilites!

While I really enjoy the color challenges, what makes the Cupcake Inspiration challenges so special is that you really have the opportunity to interpret the colors. It's fun to see how different the colors are in one card to the next, and that they're all some form of the same colors (from light to dark or soft to bright). You can find challenge #41: HERE

What I used:
Stamps: Steal a Kiss by Victoria Case
Paper: DP by Bo Bunny, Solid by Core 'dinations and DCWV, stamped on Papertrey Ink
