Fall Card - My First for 2012

My first Fall card for 2012 is put together using the Harvest Gathering stack from DCWV (I believe it was from last year, so I'm not sure if you can get it anymore).  I followed the sketch from this week's Sketchy Colors challenge.  That was fun, as I haven't used a sketch for quite a long time!  The image is an Inkadinkado clear stamp image that was stamped in Memento Rich Cocoa on PTI paper, with some Tea Dye distress ink around the edges.  The Dew Drops are from Robin's Nest, the brown crocheted lace is from my stash, and the butterfly die cuts are from Memory Box, the Darla and Vivienne dies.

Creative Inspirations Paint - Witches Cauldron

Hi there Crafty Friends!  Kimberly here, and I'm back with a new project with CI Paint.  I've used four colors from the Creative Inspirations Paint line on this little witch card.  Amethyst, Lavender, Antique Silver, and Spring Green.  The Amethyst is on both layers of the flower, the Lavender is on the bumpy berry, the Antique Silver is on the smooth berry (this one I dipped right in!), and the Spring Green is on the leaves.

The image is a Simply Sassy digi image from Sugar Nellie, and her name is Witches Cauldron.  The spider  web brad and the fence punch are both from MS.
Thanks so much for joining me today, and I'll be back soon with a new CIP project!

Cute and Creepy Emily

I had purchased this Emily Framed image from Dilly Beans and had to put her on a card for their current challenge.  I've colored her with copics and added some Creative Inspirations Paint over the headband and the flowers.  The flowers are from my friend Sue, as is the ribbon, the patterned paper, the little spider, and the Happy Halloween rub-on.  (yes, she spoiled me with Halloween goodies and you can visit her on YT at Sue7777000)  The silver dew drops are from the Robin's Nest, and the bling is from Recollections.  To hold everything together I've used GlueArts tape gun to layer all of the paper (love this for the size and light weight, as well as the fabulous tape), redline tape for the ribbon, Scotch quick dry adhesive for the paper piecing and flowers, Glossy Accents for the dew drops, and double sided foam tape to pop-up the image on the background.
Fairy Dust - on the flowers
Lavender - on her headband

Molded Pieces with CI Paints

I've been having fun making clay pieces with the couple of molds I have, and I'm starting to color them with the Creative Inspirations Paint.  What a change the paint makes, and it goes on so easily!

Here's a shot of a few batches I've done in the last few days:
The leaves here on the left are painted with Green Olive (and a plain one is beside it), the leaves to the right have Gold painted on them (again, a plain one to compare), and the chain of leaves is a mix of Green Olive and Sage:
This butterfly is painted with Blush and Pink Highlights over it, with a plain pink above it:
Here's a backing for a cameo.  You can see the original in white, and the painted one with the CI Paint Gold over it:
This butterfly shows a plain one and one painted with the Carmel:

Witchy Halloween Card

I had purchased this sweet little witch from Bugaboo Stamps recently, and just had to put her on a card.  I've colored her with copics and added some Creative Inspirations Paint over several of the colors.  The circle and doily are Spellbinders dies, the silver dew drops are from the Robin's Nest, and the little glitter bat and cat came from a sticker sheet.

Wedding Projects with a Vintage Touch

These are some wedding projects I made for my ex to give to his niece and her new (soon to be) husband at their upcoming wedding.  The vintage couple stamp on the card is a Hampton Art (Graphic45) image, and the sentiment inside is TPC.  Most of the flowers used are from Recollections, with a few of my handmade (with Spellbinders Blossom One die) flowers mixed in.  I've also created a mini album for their wedding photos with each page made into a pocket to hold tags or booklets for more photos, and an Altered Frame to match.  Their photo has been changed to sepia to match the vintage look I treid to achieve.  I'll link my YT video below if you'd like a closer look.

CI Paints - Sweet and Shimmery Card

Hi there Crafty Friends!  I'm Kimberly, and for my first official project on the CI Paint DT I chose to color a sweet little image and make a card.  I've used several fun colors from the expansive Creative Inspirations Paint line:  Carmel, Onyx, and Blue Ice.  I've also added a bit of clear glue along the edges of the flower I made, and sprinkled on some of the Resplendence Angel Dust glitter for even more sparkle.

Wooden Halloween Coffin

This was a plain wood little coffin that I painted with white Gesso, 2 coats of black acrylic paint, and then 1 coat of Onyx paint by Creative Inspirations Paint.  I have a video up where you can see the shimmer on the box and flowers (where I used the Fairy Dust CI Paint) a bit easier.  I'll add the video link in below as well.
Most of the flowers and stickers (Boo and the Bat) are from a YT friend, Sue (Sue7777000), and the fabric under my skeleton is from another YT friend named Sue (tsnbjj7).  The skeleton himself came from the local dollar store, as did the little vial on the lid.  It was a really fun project, probably because I absolutely love Halloween.

Wonderful Blog Candy from Vicki (Stamp Smiles)

I had the wonderful luck this past month of winning the Christmas blog candy from Vicki at Stamp Smiles.  I've followed her blog for quite a long time, and she has new inspiration posted nearly every day.  She's also among the sweetest of people you can meet in the paper crafting and stamping blogs, so please stop by and say hi.  Be sure to join in on her October blog candy, and there are a few days left to get in on her World Card Making Day giveaway too!

Thank you again for all of the wonderful goodness you sent my way Vicki.  Here are some photos of what I received, along with the gorgeous card she sent too!
