Rycher - A Darque Obsession at Stamp Happens

This hunky male vampire is 'Rycher', and he's part of the new 'Darque Obsession' line at Stamp Happens.
(an extreme close-up, as the glasses look much less intense in real life, more like a golden sheen over the black)

Isn't Rycher just yummy? Tonya had such a wonderful vision in having these stamps drawn up. My first thought when I saw Rycher was that he could easily look like Eric from HBO's True Blood (I'm a huge fan of the Southern Vampire/Sookie Stackhouse Series by Charlaine Harris, and of course cannot miss an episode of True Blood), so I've colored him up with Eric in mind. My second thought was that he's what I'd imagine Wrath from the Black Dagger Brotherhood series of books by J.R. Ward to look like. Both are fabulous characters, and I will have a great time coloring this digi up to look like either of them, or someone completely new.

There are 3 new digi stamps being released today, and this time they are the fabulous men with fangs:

Be sure to stop by Stamp Happens to see the wonderful cards made with these sexy vampire men.

Look What's Coming...

Please join us this Sunday (May 16, 2010) for the Grand Opening Hop for...
Be sure to stop by and join us for the Cowgirl's Sunday Challenge as well!

A Touch of Christmas #19

This is week #19 for A Touch of Christmas, and I've used a Memory Box stamp with PTI cardstock to create this card. I ran the white cardstock through with a Sizzix Texturz plate that resembles snowflakes, but getting a good picture of it proved nearly impossible. I also used the fun piercing set from Bazzill to add a bit more interest. I do have a hard time with CAS, but I'm trying!

Challenges entered:
Totally Papercrafts #15: For the faux stitiching
For Fun Challenges:  Anything Goes

Flutter by Wednesday #109

Flutter By Wednesday challenge #109, is a theme week. In addition to using a butterfly, faerie, or angel on your new card or project, we would like you to do some paper piecing! I love the look of paper piecing, so if you're looking for someone to blame for this challenge that would be me! When your card/project is ready, please add a direct link to your work on the FBW blog.

The adorable faerie image and sentiment I've used is from Sweet November, Fruit of the Month - Banana (by Amy Young) and is sold by C.C. Designs. Of course I had a lot of fun paper piecing her hat and dress!

Darcy - A Darque Obsession at Stamp Happens

This gorgeous image is 'Darcy', and she's part of the new 'Darque Obsession' line available today at Stamp Happens.

Beautiful right? Did you see those dainty fangs? I'm a big fan of the preternatural (vampires, werewolves, faeries, etc), so of course I was thrilled and eager to participate when Tonya asked if I'd like to join in on the excitement of their release!

There are 3 digi stamps in this first release of Darque Obsession, and these are the lovely ladies:

Be sure to stop by Stamp Happens to see the fabulous cards made from these new lovelies, and to see what goodies Tonya may have waiting for you there!

Just a few challenges entered:
Sentimental Sundays #2: For Someone Special
Color Throwdown #91: Rose Red, Tempting Turquoise, and Kiwi Kiss  (I actually had to paint some stripes to match the turquoise in this challenge, that was kind of fun!)
