Glamour

This little cutie is Glamour, she's one of the new Cheeky Cherry gals from The Greeting Farm. I colored her (with Copic Sketch, Creative Inspirations, and Smooch) and then matched up the papers (using Bo Bunny and Core'dinations), and accents (with Maya Road Ticket stamp, Prima flowers, Kaisercraft Pearls, Blue Moon Charm, Beads, Mini Clothespin).  I've missed creating cards that way!

This card fits in with a few challenge themes:
Anyone for Anya? - I used a new image
Cute Card Thursday #100 - I used a charm and pin for 'Metal Mania'
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle #28 - I used a charm
Allsorts Challenge #40 - I used a 'Ticket'

The 'weekend crew' with Danni had a ribbon theme this weekend, I was able to use some! (and really need to use them more often!)

50's Sweetheart

A sweet digi I just had to try out from The Greeting Farm! I started out using some scraps for the green lines and flower, and then realized I needed a larger piece for the background. I'm sure the other ladies did much better than I did using my scraps this weekend. This card actually fit into several challenges, which was really fun.

Crazy 4 Challenges #23: Be My Valentine
Tuesday Morning Sketches #31: Sketch Challenge
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #36: Valentine's or Love
Stampin' for the Weekend: Valentines Themed
Raise the Bar #4: Hearts
Creative Card Crew #44: Valentine's
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays #26: Valentine with a twist...no RED (the darkest color in the card is actually a very deep pink, not red)

What I used:
Stamp: 50's Sweetheart digi from The Greeting Farm
Paper: Bo Bunny, Papertrey Ink, Core'dinations
Ink: Copic Sketch, Shimmerz, Creative Inspirations
Accents: Die cuts with Nestabilities by Spellbinders, MS Punch, Gem

SPCC33 and A Bit of Scraps

So, what do YOU do with all of those paper scraps? Well, Danni challenged a few of her blogging friends to pull them out and use them this weekend if we had the time. While my DP and background are not scraps, the other pieces are. Of course this really has made little difference in cleaning out my scrap drawer, but because of this I will be checking it more often. Thanks Danni!

I used the color challenge from Scrapmaster's Paradise Color Combo for this project. You can find SPCC33: HERE

What I used:
Stamps: Laundry and Sentiment by Lockhart Stamps (SCACD)
Paper: DP is from Bo Bunny, Scraps from Core'dinations, Papertrey Ink, and DCWV

Susana, the super sweet store owner of SCACD, sent me a piece of Magic Mesh with my latest order, and of course I had to try it out! Besides adding texture and interest, it sticks on its own!
