Flutter By Wednesday #156 - CAS

Welcome to week #156 with Flutter By Wednesdays!  The challenge this week is:  CAS - Clean and Simple (please remember to have a butterfly, faerie, or angel in/on your project)
For my clean and simple card I've used an i cling Butterfly stamp, and used the Thank You sentiment from a Studio 112 stamp set.  Both stamps are from the dollar bin at the craft stores.  The ribbon is by Offray, the floral leaves are by I Am Roses, and I'm not sure on the little white and pink flowers.  While I absolutely love the look of other people's CAS cards, they are still a struggle for me!  Which of course means that I should get practicing and this was a perfect challenge to get me motivated.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and please be sure to stop by the FBW blog to see what the other team members have come up with to inspire you to play along!

Squiggle Stamps - Feed the Birds

Today's card uses the sweet image, Feed the Birds, from Squiggle Stamps.  I've colored her with Copics and chalked the background.  The design paper is Jillybean Soup, and so are the little pigs I've cut out.  Hard to tell from the photo, but the pigs and part of the corn stalks are dimensional.  I've also added a few Dew Drops at the bottom to finish it off.  Are those little chickens not the cutest?
Thanks so much for looking, and please be sure to visit the Squiggle Stamps store to see what new and adorable images have recently released!  You can also visit the blog to see what the other Squiggle Stamps designers have been up to.

Sentimental Sundays #56 - Single Layer

Welcome back for a new challenge with Sentimental Sundays.  This is challenge #56, and the theme this week is:  Single Layer (with a sentiment!)
I've used a cute dollar stamp from Studio112 (which is actually K and Company).  There's a bit of Glossy Accents on the hat sash (if that's what it's called?), and it's been colored with copics.  The ribbon came from packaging, and the pearls are also from Studio112.  This week's challenge is sponsored by Heart Song Designs.  Be sure to check for Ann's free set of fabulous sentiments on the Sentimental Sundays blog too!

Be sure to use a sentiment somewhere on your card or project, and to follow the theme however you may interpret it.  While Ann (Raindrop Echo Designs) offers fabulous freebies, and also sells a wide variety of sentiment stamps at Whimsy Stamps, you are free to use any sentiment.  Be sure to link up on the Sentimental Sundays blog before the next challenge to be in the running for a fabulous prize, and use a direct link to make it easy for us to find your new card or project.

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Flutter By Wednesday #155 - Carlys Sketch

Welcome to week #155 with Flutter By Wednesdays!  The challenge this week is:  Open with a sketch by Carly (remember to have a butterfly, faerie, or angel in/on your project)
For my card I've used this sweet little Angel Cody by Sylvia, and a sentiment by Ann from Raindropecho Designs.  The stamp is digital image colored in copics and printed on PTI paper, the design paper is Basic Grey.  I followed part of Carly's fun sketch on this card, and hope you get the chance to stop by her blog and take a peek at the other fabulous sketches she's shared.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and please be sure to stop by the FBW blog to see what the other team members have come up with to inspire you to play along!

Sentimental Sundays #55 - Homemade Flowers

Welcome back for a new challenge with Sentimental Sundays.  This is challenge #55, and the theme this week is:  Homemade Flowers (with a sentiment!)

I've used one of Ann's sweet Raindrop Echo sentiments that can be found at Whimsy Stamps as Love Sentiments.  The paper flowers are made using a punch from EK Success and a jeweled brad to hold them together.  So fun and easy to make!  The paper used is from K and Company, and I've sprayed the flowers and butterfly with my own mix of glimmer.  Don't forget to check for Ann's free set of fabulous sentiments on the Sentimental Sundays blog too!

Flutter By Wednesday #154 - Anything But A Card

Welcome to week #154 with Flutter By Wednesdays!  The challenge this week is:  Anything But A Card (remember to have a butterfly, faerie, or angel in/on your project)
For my gift tag I've used a lightweight chipboard butterfly, covered it in Kraft cardstock, and sprayed it with some glimmery mist I've made.  The butterfly stamp is from a dollar bin, and it's been stamped directly onto the chipboard piece before I covered it and peeled back a window.  I've taken bits and pieces from a Spring floral bush and a candle ring to add the flowers and beaded branch.  I finished it off with some faux stitching along the edge.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and please be sure to stop by the FBW blog to see what the other team members have come up with to inspire you to play along!

Squiggle Stamps - Flower Clock

Hi!  I've been away for a bit getting some things settled, and am slowly coming back.  Wow, I have so missed you all!  I'm fortunate to be on design teams that are so fabulous and run by some wonderfully patient people.  A big thank you for that ladies, you've all been simply awesome.
Today's project is a fun image from Squiggle Stamps called Flower Clock, and I just love it!  There are so many directions to go with this image, but this time I chose colors that were soft and more vintage looking.  The little wooden frame was unfinished, and a dollar store find that I just had to paint.  I'm playing with crackle finishes this week, something new for me.  thanks so much for looking, and please be sure to visit the Squiggle Stamps store to see what new and adorable images have recently released!  You can also visit the blog to see what the other Squiggle Stamps designers have been up to.
