Sentimental Sundays #40 - Chinese New Year or Asian Theme

Welcome back for a new challenge with Sentimental Sundays.  This is challenge #40, and the theme this week is:  Chinese New Year or Asian Theme

I've worked on some new tags this week and had a lot of fun trying out some new things.  Two of the flowers are made using book pages, the third is with cardstock.  All three were sprayed with Tattered Angel's Glimmer Mist.  The stamps are all from a Fiskars set I have wanted to use for such a long time (sounds familiar, right?...lol).  the images are stamped with Momento and colored with Smooches.

Flutter By Wednesday #139 - White on White

This is week #139 on Flutter By Wednesday and with this new week comes a fun new challenge!  The challenge this week is:  White on White with only the image colored.

I've had a great time with this challenge, but probably went a bit over-board I think!  The sweet birthday faerie is from TAC.  You can check out Danni's blog for more info on their adorable stamps!  I've also added some punched flowers, bling, pearls, stickles (on the faerie's wings dress, wand, and cupcake), and the background that's been embossed with a Sizzix Texturz plate.

I thought I'd work on a tag this week to maybe use later on in a mini album or to use on a gift some time.  The dress form and clock are from The Paper Girl Collection by The Girls Paperie.  the sentiment is from a Tim Holtz set.  The flowers are Prima, and the pearl beads are Jesse James.

Flutter By Wednesday #138 - Open

This is week #138 on Flutter By Wednesday and with this new week comes a fun new challenge!  The challenge this week is:  Open Challenge

I've worked on another page from my coaster album for today's challenge.  The ribbon is from the same collection (Blizzard by Harmonie that I was able to get from Rhonda at Your Scrapbook Supply).  I've also added some bling, flowers, stickles (on the snowmen's hat bands that I found impossible to get a shot of), Tattered Angel's Glimmer Mist (Dazzling Diamond on the tags), and the sweet MS Monarch Butterfly that I covered in Glossy Accents.  (the butterfly looks a bit rust colored with the Glossy Accents, but it's punched from paper in the collection and is actually similar to that gorgeous ribbon in color.

Fluttering into 2011 with Flutter By Wednesday #136

This sweet image can be found at Spesch Designs by the artist Sylvia.  She is just so sweet!  She printed on PTI paper, colored with Copics, and stickled.  The DP is Cosmo Cricket, the ribbon is by Crate Paper, and the flower is made by me using a punch.
