Tom Cat Goes Fishing
This is Tom Cat Goes Fishing. Another cutie from Meljen's Designs and he's also a freebie! I think he makes a wonderfully masculine card, and before making this I probably had none sitting here made! Yes, shame on me. Yesterday was Freebie Monday, so be sure to grab this week's free digi. I may actually print it up and add it to this card. (pop on over there and you'll see why!)
Tom Cat fits into a few challenges this week:
Fab 'n' Funky Challenges #16: Theme: Favorite Technique - Mine (right now) is using chalks around my images and especially for the sky!
Saturday Spotlight #24: There's a Coffee Inspiration photo
Copics Colour Challenge #57: Color Challenge of Olive, Blue Violet, and Walnut

Meet Lou
This is Lou. I think she looks like a wonderful cross between a jungle dweller and some sweet and magical being. I stopped by the Stampen with CJ blog, which is Cowgirl Up Digi Stamps were Lou is being shared for DT entries (an awesome idea), and couldn't resist coloring her.
Lou is colored with Copics, and I've used some chalk around her. The paper used is from a Collage Crafting Pad. I've added some gems and a bow (which I most happily cheated and used the Bow Easy to get just right!).
Royal Battle at TGF
Did you vote? Today the voting starts at The Greeting Farm in their Galleria (gallery > Contest/Challenges > TGF ROYAL BATTLE > Week 1). Our team, Little Star Shooters has Rachael to thank for our entry this week.
This is Rachael's adorable card:
I think she did such a great job following the challenge theme and colors. Remember...go vote! You get to vote for your top 3 favorites too.

Bella with Cubs
I saw this image on the Spesch Stamp site, and just had to have it. It's called Bella and Cubs. They're such sweet little babies, and I thought they'd be a good fit for this week's Crafty Creations Challenge. The theme is... 'Babies'! You can find challenge #60: HERE
What I used:
Bella with Cubs by Spesch Stamps, BoBunny and PTI paper, lace, a crocheted flower, and some little buttons from my stash. I've colored with my Copics and added a very light dusting of gray chalk around the image. Nesties were used to cut the circle and scalloped edged circle.

A Touch of Christmas #12
This is week #12 of A Touch of Christmas, just me trying to get ahead on next Christmas! More gift tags this week. Those are what I really need to be focusing on for a while. I used this adorable digi stamp by Michelle Perkett, colored them with Copics, added snowflakes to the back, along with a To and From, and cut everything with my Nesties. This digi was a freebie, and of course you couldn't ask for something more perfect for a Christmas Gift Tag. Pretty awesome that so many talented artists share their work with us, let alone those wonderful freebie surprises!
Have a great week, and I'll see you next time!

Flutter By Wednesday #102
Good Morning Flutter By friends! This week's challenge is #102. It's an open challenge, so your card/project with a butterfly, faerie or angel is perfect.
Be sure to add your card or project to Mr. Linky on the FBW blog. Please use a direct link so that your post is easily found when we come visiting! You can find more information by visiting the Flutter By Wednesday blog: HERE
If you have some time, please check out what the other DT members have created. Their links can be found in the sidebar on the Flutter By blog, as well as in my own sidebar to the right.
The lovely faerie on this card is 'Fairy Pool'. She's a Squigglefly Digi Stamp by Chesney Young. I've used some Memory Box and Core'dinations paper, a punch by MS, a piece of scrap ribbon, and some Bella's Baubles to put the card together. The image has been colored with Copics, a touch of Spica, and some Smooch Illuminate on her wings. I've also added some Diamond Glaze to the water pool and to the drops on the leaves.

Some Bunny Love and a Bit of News
I recently had the wonderful surprise of becoming one of the design team members for Melissa Jenkins, the artist behind MELJENS Designs! Very exciting news for me, as I'm really having fun with Digi stamps now. You can find the announcement, and list of DT members to visit, on the DT blog: HERE Remember to 'follow' the blog because challenges start on April 1st!
If you haven't seen Melissa's work, just wait until you see how fun and sweet her images are! This adorable bunny couple is one of the freebies from her blog (this cutie was from the Operation Write Home Springbreak Hop). It's called Bunny Love. Too cute, right? She also has Freebie Mondays, so be sure to stop over there and see yesterday's post!

Easter Bunny Rosie
Hello blogging friends! Hope you're all having a great weekend. Mine was busy and constructive, a great combination. While I did get more organizing done in my crafting room though, I only managed to actually complete one card. I'll have more to share over the next few days, as I did manage to color a few images along the way.
I've used another digi cutie from La-La Land Crafts. This is 'Easter Bunny Rosie'. I've used some of the new Prima paper, a twill ribbon that came wrapped around a package, and a pin that I've added spacers and pearls to. The coloring is done with Copics and a touch of Garnet from Creative Inspirations paint. I've also roughed up all of the edges for that slight 'shabby' look.
Sweet little Rosie fits quite a few challenges that I follow, mostly because of Spring and Easter, so that was fun!:
La-La Land Crafts Challenge #30: Recycle It (I used the Twill Ribbon from a package)
The Shabby Tea Room #1: Elegant Shabby - pink, creme, green & brown
Allsorts Challenge #44: Spring
Our Creative Corner: Think Easter
Stampin' for the Weekend #35: Easter
I Love Digi #3: Easter
Crafty Creations #59: Spots and Dots
Creative Card Crew #46: Going Dotty

A Touch of Christmas #11
On to week #11 of A Touch of Christmas. Moving right along! I chose to do a gift card this week with a little reindeer stamp from the C.C. Designs Sugarplum North Pole Collection. The gift card came out larger than I expected, but as always it was fun to do! I layered the deer, added some Prima flowers, and some punched leaves from what has become my favorite punch by EK. I'm having a heck of a time with the McGill punches I have. Love the look of those leaves as well, but I'm clearly lacking in the strength one needs to use them. Any suggestions on making them easier to use would be much appreciated!
I've entered this little Christmas Gift Card in a few challenges:
Cupcake Craft Challenges #82 - used a lot of Green
Pollycraft Monday Challenge #36 - Sparkly Things (used clear gems)
Fussy and Fancy Friday #6 - Green

Lala with her Bunny
This past week I saw these adorable digi stamps at La-La Land Crafts and just had to get them. This one is Lala with Bunny, and she is just so sweet! More than anything I think it's those lovely eyes that you can so easily color in. So as life goes it was a busy weekend and a running around start to the week today, so I am just now getting her posted!
La La Land Crafts Wednesday Challenge# 29: Pastel Theme
Crafty Creations Challenges #58: Make flowers
I've used some Making Memories paper from the Flower Patch collection, as well as solid Core'dinations (thank goodness they have SO many colors to choose from!). I've added some lace, a die cut flower pieced together and secured with a brad, and some punched leaves from a McGill Punch.

Guest post at Raise the Bar
Hope everyone is having a great Friday! It's a gloomy day today, but we can always use the rain that's so rare this time of year.
I was a guest this week on Raise the Bar for challenge #8, and their theme for this challenge is: Go Green. You can stop by their blog to enter: HERE
I used Hello Ian from The Greeting Farm, he is SUCH a cutie, isn't he? I used some Basic Grey DP (Origins) and Core'dinations solids. Added a bit of silk ribbon and gems and colored him with Copic markers with a bit of paper piecing (hat and scarf).

A Touch of Christmas #10
A Touch of Christmas, week 10! The weeks are just flying by and it will be Christmas again in no time. I'm having a great time crafting the projects that will make this year's holiday season much more relaxed for me. (alright, maybe not relaxed...but my cards will be done!) Now if I could just stick to making more of those gift tags I would be doing great!
I'm entering this card into a few challenges:
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle #30: Open Challenge
Sketchy Colors #14: Sketch
Curtain Call #20: Color Challenge
This week I used an adorable skater from the Go Figure set by Whimsie Doodles. Isn't she adorable? I was so lucky in winning the random drawing at Saturday Spotlight last week, and just had to use one of the pretty digi stamps I chose. She's colored with Copic markers with Spica, and Clearstar accents. I've added some Flower Soft on her coat, a Prima flower, punched leaves, a bit of ribbon, and beads on a pin.

Flutter By Wednesday #100
Good Morning, and welcome back for this week's Flutter By Wednesday! Today's challenge is #100, can you believe it? Wow! Congratulations Danni for having such a fun and successful challenge blog! You're such a sweet person, and it really is a pleasure to be part of this wonderful team. Thanks so much for everything!
This is an open week (butterflies, faeries or angels), so be sure to add your direct link to Mr. Linky on the FBW blog. You can find more information about the challenge by visiting the Flutter By Wednesday blog: HERE
If you have some time, please check out what the other DT members have created. Their links can be found in the sidebar on the Flutter By blog, as well as in my own sidebar to the right.
Karen had a lovely idea for the DT, and she asked that each of us create a Butterfly Box! A surprise for Danni who really loves butterflies. Thank you Karen, it was a thoughtful idea, and such a fun project! If you're interested in the butterfly boxes you can find the information on how to create one of your own: HERE
I've used a Sizzix die set for my butterfly, with some Recollections pearls on the antennae, and on the back I've used some butterfly paper from Prima. It looks rather plain when it's empty, but would make a nice little gift basket for Spring.

A Touch of Christmas #9
Good Morning! (or Evening, depending where you are!) This is week #9 of ATOC, and I've chosen to make a few gift tags. For the time being I'll be doing these little weekly Christmas projects alone, but Danni is such a sweetie and always welcome back. So maybe we'll see her in ATOC again sometime in the future.
This is Edwin on Sled, a Magnolia stamp. I used my Nestabilities Labels One to cut out the little cards, and around the images. They're colored with Copic Sketch, outlined with Creative Inspirations paint, and have touches of Smooch Illuminate. The faux fur around on his hat is Flower Soft, and inside the small gift cards I've used a 'Merry Christmas' sentiment from C. C. Designs.
These little gift cards will work with 2 of the Challenge blogs that I follow:
Fab 'n' Funky #13: Theme: It's All in the Shape - Make a shaped card (Nestabilities Label)
Creative Card Crew: Theme: Celebrations (mine is Christmas!)

Flutter By Wednesday #99
Good Morning, and welcome back for Flutter By Wednesday! Today's challenge is #99 and Danni has shared an inspiration picture.
Be sure to add your Tinker Bell inspired card or project to Mr. Linky on the FBW blog. Please use a direct link so that it's easily found when we come visiting! You can find more information on this week's challenge by visiting the Flutter By Wednesday blog: HERE
If you have some time, please check out what the other DT members have created. Their links can be found in the sidebar on the Flutter By blog, as well as in my own sidebar to the right.
With the fun picture of Tink for inspiration, I pulled out my Tinker Bell stamps from EK Success. I paper pieced her dress and shoes with some Core'dinations paper, added some flower soft to the puffs on her shoes, and colored her in using Copic Sketch markers and Creative Inspirations paints. The decorative papers used are from S.E.I. and the solids are from Core'dinations. A few accents were added...a flower from Prima, punched leaves using EK and McGill punches, Blue Moon beads, a swirl using a Sizzix die, and other cuts made using Nestabilities by Spellbinders. I used the Bow Easy on the ribbon to finish things up.
