A Touch of Christmas #15

This is week #15 of A Touch of Christmas. I know...you aren't worried just yet, but I am never ready for the holidays so I will just keep at for now!

I recently purchased this Penny Johnson stamp (Stampavie) called 'Looking Chic'. Is she not cute with her puppy? So this is more of a Winter card than it is a Christmas card, but it will be nice for just saying hello during anyone's cold season. The cardstock is Papertrey Ink, and the DP is Christmas paper from American Crafts (gotta love that touch of the non-traditional). She's colored with Copics, the die cuts used are Nestabilities, the ribbon is Offray (yes, of course I used the Bow Easy to make the bow!), and the little brown pearls are from Recollections.

I'm entering this card in two challenges:
Stampin' for the Weekend #36: Ribbons and Bows
OCC Challenge: Use Bows

Easter Bunny Rosie

Hello blogging friends! Hope you're all having a great weekend. Mine was busy and constructive, a great combination. While I did get more organizing done in my crafting room though, I only managed to actually complete one card. I'll have more to share over the next few days, as I did manage to color a few images along the way.

I've used another digi cutie from La-La Land Crafts. This is 'Easter Bunny Rosie'. I've used some of the new Prima paper, a twill ribbon that came wrapped around a package, and a pin that I've added spacers and pearls to. The coloring is done with Copics and a touch of Garnet from Creative Inspirations paint. I've also roughed up all of the edges for that slight 'shabby' look.

Sweet little Rosie fits quite a few challenges that I follow, mostly because of Spring and Easter, so that was fun!:
La-La Land Crafts Challenge #30: Recycle It (I used the Twill Ribbon from a package)
The Shabby Tea Room #1: Elegant Shabby - pink, creme, green & brown
Allsorts Challenge #44: Spring
Our Creative Corner: Think Easter
Stampin' for the Weekend #35: Easter
I Love Digi #3: Easter
Crafty Creations #59: Spots and Dots
Creative Card Crew #46: Going Dotty

Read a Book...Knowledge is Power

The stamps used on this card are from the I {heart} Books set from My Favorite Things stamps. The paper is K and Company, Core'dinations, and DCWV. The image is colored with Copic markers, Creative Inspirations paint, and chalk. MS punch used for the lacey edge, and Nestabilities used for rectangle and scallop rectangle.

The challenges I followed:
Raise the Bar #8: Theme - National Woman's History Month (woman reading)
Our Creative Corner: Sketch
The Play Date Cafe #19 - Deep Yellow, Pale Yellow, and White
Stampin' for the Weekend: Theme - Monochromatic (used yellows)

50's Sweetheart

A sweet digi I just had to try out from The Greeting Farm! I started out using some scraps for the green lines and flower, and then realized I needed a larger piece for the background. I'm sure the other ladies did much better than I did using my scraps this weekend. This card actually fit into several challenges, which was really fun.

Crazy 4 Challenges #23: Be My Valentine
Tuesday Morning Sketches #31: Sketch Challenge
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #36: Valentine's or Love
Stampin' for the Weekend: Valentines Themed
Raise the Bar #4: Hearts
Creative Card Crew #44: Valentine's
Stamp, Scrap & Doodle Saturdays #26: Valentine with a twist...no RED (the darkest color in the card is actually a very deep pink, not red)

What I used:
Stamp: 50's Sweetheart digi from The Greeting Farm
Paper: Bo Bunny, Papertrey Ink, Core'dinations
Ink: Copic Sketch, Shimmerz, Creative Inspirations
Accents: Die cuts with Nestabilities by Spellbinders, MS Punch, Gem

Thanks so much for stopping by!
