Sentimental Sundays #59 - Father's Day or Card for a Man

Welcome back for a new challenge with Sentimental Sundays.  This is challenge #59, and the theme this week is:  Father's Day or Card for a Man (with a sentiment!)  We are sponsored this week by Meljen's Designs!

The little Father's Day stamp that I used for this card is from Studio112, and the dp is from the Tattered Time collection from DCWV.  I've used an EK Success punch to do the notebook edge at the bottom, love their punches (so much easier on the hands than most).

Flutter By Wednesday #156 - CAS

Welcome to week #156 with Flutter By Wednesdays!  The challenge this week is:  CAS - Clean and Simple (please remember to have a butterfly, faerie, or angel in/on your project)

For my clean and simple card I've used an i cling Butterfly stamp, and used the Thank You sentiment from a Studio 112 stamp set.  Both stamps are from the dollar bin at the craft stores.  The ribbon is by Offray, the floral leaves are by I Am Roses, and I'm not sure on the little white and pink flowers.  While I absolutely love the look of other people's CAS cards, they are still a struggle for me!  Which of course means that I should get practicing and this was a perfect challenge to get me motivated.
