C4C2 - Perfect Package Card

This is another lovely stamp by Hanna Stamps I’ve used to make this card. I had actually set out to make a ‘blue’ Christmas card, but in the end I think it was be more appropriate for a birthday or other holiday. I’ve followed this week’s challenge from Crazy for Challenges with a sketch designed by Cindy Haffner. You can find C4C2: HERE

What I’ve used:
Stamp: Perfect Package by Hanna Stamps
Paper: Solid & Print by DCWV, Watercolor Paper by Canson
Ink: Versafine Onyx Black by Tsukineko
Accents: Silver Dew Drops by Robin's Nest, Die Cut (Nestabilities)

Mermaid - Hello

I came across two different challenges over the weekend that intrigued me, and somehow they ended up being done in one card. The first was the Etsy Inspired Challenge where we’re asked to visit Etsy and choose an item that inspires us. You can see that challenge: HERE  I found a wonderful handpainted Travel Mug by Morsel81 that can be seen: HERE  The second is a sketch challenge that was different from any that I’ve seen with a circle extending above the top of the card. Very creative of C4C. You can see that challenge: HERE

I so enjoyed making this card with the lovely mermaid from Hanna Stamps. The rock formation is another stamp in the same set, so I had to mask the mermaid (totally worth the time, and easy enough to do).

What I used:

Stamps: Mermaid, Rock Formation (Hanna Stamps), Hello (CTMH)
Paper: Print (DCWV), Solid (The Paper Co)
Accents: Gems (Darice), Flower (Prima)
Misc.: Watercolor pencils (Design), Stamp Pads (The Paper Co)

During my time away from stamping over the past few years some very creative people have designed digi-stamps. Who knew? I sure didn’t!

Visiting some lovely stamping blogs led me to VC Stamp Challenges yesterday, and I sent an email requesting a free digi-stamp to use on an entry in this week’s challenge. Victoria kindly sent me 2 to choose from! I’ve used one, and will use the other little cutie for a future challenge. (Victoria Case Art Designs sells both digi and rubber stamps.)
