Cupcake Phillip Birthday

I made this little Cupcake Phillip card to enter a DT Call on YT for Jamie from the Not2Shabby Zibbet store.  She is such a sweetie, and she has a great selection of stamps!  So thought I would post him here and enter a few challenges.  The die cuts are from MFT, and of course Cupcake Phillip is one of the Fairy Tale images from CC Designs.
Here's a Close-up of the little Banner:
Do you  set resolutions or goals for yourself in the new year?  I hope to get my craft room organized once and for all (I know, wishful thinking that even if I get it organized it will actually stay that way!).  I also need to get healthy.  I hope everyone has a Happy and Healthy New Year!

The challenges I'm entering:
Cute Card Thursday #249 - Anything Goes
Simon Says Stamp - Anything Goes
Here Come the Boys - #42 - Anything Goes
The Pink Elephant Challenge #180 - Anything Goes

Thanks so much for stopping by!

Sweet Singing Angel

This adorable image comes from CC Designs, another used for the card collection I've made for my Mom this season.  She's been colored in Copics, and painted with Garnet Creative Inspirations Paint.  Her wings are done in Winter Frost paint, and I've added some red lace, and silver trim behind her.  The IAR flowers, a Recollections stamped sentiment, and a bit of that red Recollections bling were used to complete the card.

Penny Black and More - Your Choice
OOZAK Challenge - #9 - Anything Goes plus Red
Stampavie and More - #183 - Christmas

Birthday Boy with CI Paints

Hello CI Paint fans, and Happy Thanksgiving to those of you here in the US celebrating!

For today's project I've made a card for an upcoming birthday, and tried some distressing with the Creative Inspirations Paint.  I colored this sweet image from CC Designs, and cut several die cuts using recycled cereal boxes with cardstock over the smaller pieces (the crown and birthday tag).  The frame is plain chipboard with the Onyx CI Paint directly painted on to it.  The coverage really looks as solid and shimmery either way.  I added some clear gloss over the crown (love the flecks of shimmer under that gloss!), and then stamped the Happy Birthday tag using the White Deliquesce embossing powder.   To add a bit of distressing I painted over the white lettering, with Onxy, and then dry brushed it off.  His cupcake is topped off with a bit of Carmel CI Paint, and I've just chalked around the edges of the cut image to finish it off.

CI Paints - Sweet and Shimmery Card

Hi there Crafty Friends!  I'm Kimberly, and for my first official project on the CI Paint DT I chose to color a sweet little image and make a card.  I've used several fun colors from the expansive Creative Inspirations Paint line:  Carmel, Onyx, and Blue Ice.  I've also added a bit of clear glue along the edges of the flower I made, and sprinkled on some of the Resplendence Angel Dust glitter for even more sparkle.
