Week #17 of my A Touch of Christmas! I had this little cutie by Elisabeth Bell colored when I colored the same image a few months ago, and couldn't resist using her. She's from Belles 'n Whistles from one of the lovely Christmas sets.
Something I've been reminded of lately is that I should work on some cards being easier to mail, so this is a nice simple one with no embellishments (not an easy thing for me...at all).
I'm entering my little Christmas cutie into these challenges:
Picture Perfect Creations #10 - Certainly Celery, Bordering Blue, Real Red, Crushed Curry
Crazy 4 Challenges #34 - Theme: Case It! I chose Silke's pretty card for the colors.
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturday #37 - Theme: Girly

Flutter By Wednesday #107
Welcome to challenge #107 with Flutter By Wednesday. This week we have a fabulous theme to follow that was chosen by Debby! She'd like for everyone to create something new, keeping it clean and simple with butterflies. Be sure to add the direct link of your new card or project on the FBW blog so that it's easily found when we come visiting! If you're having trouble linking directly, please read the 'How To' page on the blog which can be found: HERE
For my card I've used a butterfly from Studio Calico, and a vine from Memory Box. The images are stamped on PTI paper, I've used some Glossy Accents on the butterfly, and added some tiny Recollections pearls to the flowers and butterfly antennae.
You can find more information about this week's challenge by visiting the Flutter By Wednesday blog: HERE Please be sure and take a peek at the DT's cards for a bit of inspiration, and we look forward to seeing what you create!

A Touch of Christmas #16
On to week #16 of A Touch of Christmas, and still going! If nothing else, my packages next Christmas will have some unique gift tags! Thankfully everyone on my Christmas list will just love that.
This little penguin and his Igloo are both from Unity stamps. The flowers are from a Marvy punch, the greenery from my favorite EK Success punch. The little gems and DP are from Basic Grey, and the 'snow' is polar white Flower Soft.
I've found two challenges for my little gift card this week:

This week I've used the gorgeous Bella digi stamp from Cowgirl Up Stamps for my card. I love that so many of the gals and guys that CJ draws have nice big eyes to color. The image is printed on PTI, and colored with Copics. The solid paper is Core'dinations, the print is My Mind's Eye, and the Pearls are by Kaisercraft. I've added some Illuminate by Smooch to Bella's colorful wings, and a touch to her eye shadow as well.

A Touch of Christmas #15
This is week #15 of A Touch of Christmas. I know...you aren't worried just yet, but I am never ready for the holidays so I will just keep at for now!
I recently purchased this Penny Johnson stamp (Stampavie) called 'Looking Chic'. Is she not cute with her puppy? So this is more of a Winter card than it is a Christmas card, but it will be nice for just saying hello during anyone's cold season. The cardstock is Papertrey Ink, and the DP is Christmas paper from American Crafts (gotta love that touch of the non-traditional). She's colored with Copics, the die cuts used are Nestabilities, the ribbon is Offray (yes, of course I used the Bow Easy to make the bow!), and the little brown pearls are from Recollections.
I'm entering this card in two challenges:
Stampin' for the Weekend #36: Ribbons and Bows
OCC Challenge: Use Bows

Crochet Flowers...
I've been playing with yarn a bit this afternoon, trying to find a good crochet flower that would work on cards. I'd still love to find something smaller. If anyone has a link to one that's small (and easy) I would love it if you'd share! These are the three types I tried (haven't added buttons or anything to them yet):
This, of course, is my favorite. I may just use this one on a project soon.

Spotlight Anya
The little cutie on the front of this card is Anya from the Spotlight Scrap Kit by The Greeting Farm. Is she adorable, or what? The 'My Friend' sentiment is from the same set. I'm so hoping they do more kits like this, they may even get me back to doing some scrapbooking!
This is the inside of the card with another of Ann Vento's fabulous sentiments! Be sure to stop by and visit her Raindrop Echo Designs blog, and what for tomorrow's digi release at Whimsy Stamps.

Alice and Humpty Dumpty
Hey All! Hope everyone is having a great weekend, and enjoying some pleasant weather wherever you are around the world.
I recently had the pleasure of being introduced to Ann Vento of Raindrop Echo Designs. She creates some pretty fabulous sentiment stamps in rubber, and now in digi as well. This awesome Friendship digi stamp is one of Ann's new releases for Monday (April 12, 2010) at Whimsy Stamps. You can visit her page there, and see her sets in rubber as well: HERE
The adorable Alice and Humpty Dumpty image is from the 4th sheet of Elaine Cox stamps, sold by Sweet Pea Stamps. Sweet Pea Stamps and it's owner, Lynette, are a favorite of mine. Not only do they have some of the most fabulous fantasy artists around, but you couldn't ask to purchase these stamps from a sweeter person than Lynette. I originally got hooked on the Ching-Chou Kuik Fantasy Art Collection there at Sweet Pea, and couldn't resist the adorable Gum Drop Gang. While the Gum Drop Gang are not fantasy images, they are just plain cute! Most recently they've added Elaine Cox and Lisa Victoria to their list of fabulous fantasy artists. If you haven't been collecting them, you have a lot of catching up to do! You can visit the store: HERE
I'm entering this card in a few challenges:
Oh, Alice! #8: Use Flowers
ColourQ Challenge #27: Tangerine Tango, Night of Navy, Tempting Turquoise, Soft Suede, and White
Allsorts Challenge #47: Petals and Pearls
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge #45: Buttons
Picture Perfect #7: Tempting Turquoise, Chocolate Chip, and Vanilla
Stampalicious Monday: Easel Card (I know - I should have used the awesome Coffee Brawd set, and I wasn't sure if we could actually enter a card without a TS stamp, so this may not count!!)
Copic Colour Challenge # 59: Apricot, Duck Blue, Copper

A Touch of Christmas #14
This is week #14 of A Touch of Christmas, and this cute little mouse from Clear Dollar Stamps makes another little gift tag. I've colored the image with Copics, adhered it to the DP with pop dots and layered it with red PTI cardstock on some white cardstock to make the little card. The set this little mouse is from was the November 2009 SOM at Clear Dollar Stamps, Mouse Dreams.
*The flower punches are by Marvy, the leaf/branch is by McGill*

Flutter By Wednesday #104
Welcome to challenge #104 with Flutter By Wednesday. This week we have the theme of 'Sparkle'! In addition to your card/project having a butterfly, faerie or angel on it, you should also give your card or project a bit of sparkle.
We have Glitterbabe Greetings sponsoring us this week for some added fun, which means there are two of her lovely digi stamps as a giveaway for one randomly chosen winner from the entries this week! You can also follow Stef's blog: HERE
Glitterbabe/Stef kindly shared some butterflies with the FBW design team, so this little pretty is one of her designs! The Bo Bunny DP has glitter all over the flowers, and I've used Pixie Dust Shimmerz/Blingz on much of the butterfly. You should be able to see it a little better if you enlarge the photo.
Be sure to add the direct link of a new card or project on the FBW blog so that it's easily found when we come visiting! If you're having trouble linking directly, please read the 'How To' page on the blog which can be found: HERE

A Touch of Christmas #13
This is week #13 of A Touch of Christmas, and I've added a few more small gift cards to my Christmas stash. I used another adorable digi stamp by Michelle Perkett, colored them with Copics, adhered them to some red PTI cardstock, and then to some white cardstock to make little cards. This digi was another freebie, how lucky is that? So sorry for the poor photo quality on this one! I just could not get a picture without a shadow tonight, and I wasn't home early enough this afternoon to get them finished up before I lost the natural light.
Be sure to stop back here later this morning for some wonderful fun with Meljen's Designs (if it's after 7AM EST then just click the Faerie Tales banner to refresh the blog and see the post above this one)!
