A Touch of Christmas #19

This is week #19 for A Touch of Christmas, and I've used a Memory Box stamp with PTI cardstock to create this card. I ran the white cardstock through with a Sizzix Texturz plate that resembles snowflakes, but getting a good picture of it proved nearly impossible. I also used the fun piercing set from Bazzill to add a bit more interest. I do have a hard time with CAS, but I'm trying!

Challenges entered:
Totally Papercrafts #15: For the faux stitiching
For Fun Challenges:  Anything Goes

Flutter By Wednesday #107

Welcome to challenge #107 with Flutter By Wednesday. This week we have a fabulous theme to follow that was chosen by Debby! She'd like for everyone to create something new, keeping it clean and simple with butterflies. Be sure to add the direct link of your new card or project on the FBW blog so that it's easily found when we come visiting! If you're having trouble linking directly, please read the 'How To' page on the blog which can be found: HERE
For my card I've used a butterfly from Studio Calico, and a vine from Memory Box. The images are stamped on PTI paper, I've used some Glossy Accents on the butterfly, and added some tiny Recollections pearls to the flowers and butterfly antennae.

You can find more information about this week's challenge by visiting the Flutter By Wednesday blog: HERE Please be sure and take a peek at the DT's cards for a bit of inspiration, and we look forward to seeing what you create!

So, what do YOU do with all of those paper scraps? Well, Danni challenged a few of her blogging friends to pull them out and use them this weekend if we had the time. While my DP and background are not scraps, the other pieces are. I used this week’s Basic Grey sketch by Tara G, along with their Granola and Ambrosia papers for this card. I also used their Glazed Brads, which I just love that they’re coordinated to the paper sets! You can find the Basic Grey week 9 challenge: HERE
